Use this calculator to plan your art repro shoot.  The main variables to consider are if the original art is smaller or larger than 120cm, if the original uses metallic or iridescent paint, and finally, the level of detail that you would like us to capture (more on detail capture below). The calculator will also show you volume discounts.

LEVEL OF DETAIL CAPTURED

We use the same techniques of multi-image capture that are used in the cultural heritage labs at the Louvre and the Met.  This means that we use a high resolution camera and a very high end lens to photograph parts of the original artwork and then perfectly recombine them in post production with specialized software.  the result is that there is almost no end to the amount of detail that can be captured.  It is a very impressive thing to see in person!

4 Frame Multi-Capture - Four frames captured | Perfect Color & Tone | For prints up to approximately 80cm long and the ability to zoom in and see more detail 

16 Frame Multi-Capture - Sixteen frames captured | Perfect Color & Tone | For prints that exceed the size of the original and a superior amount of detail

64 Frame Multi Capture - Sixty-four frames captured  | Perfect Color & Tone | For prints that exceed the size of the original by a large margin (mural and wall sized prints) and a truly amazing amount of detail captured

* We feel that 4 Frame Multi-Capture is the sweet spot.  Artists have more ability to zoom in to see the work super close up and make large prints, without increasing the budget very much
