I have a bit of an obsession with Japan. Tokyo is certainly the most impressive city in the world to me, and the smaller towns and countryside have a magical quality to them. I have traveled to Japan more than a dozen times and still I can't wait to go back!

Photograph made with a 4x5 camera and Polaroid Type 55 film, two years after that iconic film was out of production, causing a strange ghostly degradation in part of the image due to the age of the film. This is the last of my Type 55 images, one of my favourite films to shoot with.
